How it works?

HOW HOTPROSPECTS WORKS

WHATEVER your sector, finding the right graduate for your business can be challenging without the appropriate support. However, registering with HotProspects is a simple way to gain access to over 10,000 highly skilled graduates. The service is designed for simplicity and transparency at every stage, and the online system allows you to manage the recruitment process from start to finish. However, to ensure you get exactly what you need from the service, your dedicated account manager is available to support you at any point. The guide below outlines the process step by step, but please get in touch if you have any questions.

STEP 1 - INTRODUCTION TO HOTPROSPECTS

Register your company on the HotProspects website! We will send you an email to confirm your profile is active.

You’ll get a brief introduction to the service, including an overview of the recruitment process and our additional HR support provision.

STEP 2 - JOB SPECIFICATION DEVELOPMENT

If you require, we’ll assess the suitability of the content and attractiveness to potential jobseekers, and can offer advice on improving content/attractiveness

We’ll proof read the final draft and seek authorisation from you.

Your job is uploaded to the website! You can manage your jobs and keep an eye on the process from your online profile.

STEP 3 - ACCOUNT MANAGERS INTRODUCTION

You’ll be assigned an account manager, who may have specialisms within your sector or the types of graduates you are looking for.

Your account manager will assess your individual needs. We’ll consider the recruitment variables, like salary, urgency and geography.

Once that has been agreed, you’ll receive an overview of different recruitment methodologies, and we’ll agree an action plan. For example, you may only require us to manage the application process, or you may have taken advantage of our Graduate Assessment Centre or Role and Sector Specific Search.

STEP 4 - SUBMITTED CANDIDATES DISCUSSED

As candidates apply for your job, their applications come through to the HotProspects account management team. This means we can vet the applications to ensure you only get submitted the most suitable candidates.

When we have found the best candidates for your position, you will be sent their CVs for review.

Your account manager will discuss with you an assessment of each candidate's skills and experience in comparison to the job description. We will agree timescales for interviews.

STEP 5 - PREPARATION FOR INTERVIEW

You’ll receive all the details for the candidates required for interview. We will confirm the time, date and order.

Before the interview, you’ll have briefed us on length and nature of the interview and any necessary preparation candidates should make.

STEP 6 - INTERVIEW FEEDBACK

Straight after the interview we always call you to get candidate specific feedback.

We will appraise your feedback - candidates are either given a second interview or offer of employment, or we re-assess the job description and requirements and begin another search.

STEP 7 - EMPLOYMENT OFFER ADVICE

We will have a discussion with you on your initial thoughts on salary.

You'll give us a 'ballpark' figure of a salary based on industry, location, experience etc. We will offer assistance for development of period based salary increments or commission to aid retention.

STEP 8 - CONFIRMATION OF EMPLOYMENT

We will confirm with you the salary and working hours and communicate these to the candidate.
