CREAM OF THE CROP
This June HotProspects decided to mix things up a bit in the Food and Drink sector. We took 7 top graduates to the Food & Drink Forum’s Annual Networking Supper, and they certainly caused quite a stir!
The graduates, of various degree disciplines and levels of experience, were selected by the HotProspects team follow a mass call out to all graduates wanting to work in the Food and Drink sector within the East Midlands. Degrees studied ranged from PR to Food and Nutrition Science, with some fresh form their exams and others having worked for the past year. The event allowed the graduates to meet the key people in some of the region’s top food and drink companies, to network and make those key contacts in order to secure a top graduate position.
Michael Weightman, a recent Leicester University Math’s graduate who attended the event said: ‘The event provided me with the chance to network with potential employers and successful personel within the food and dirnk industry. It was a great experience and the night on a whole was one to remember.’
The event was a hugh success, with plenty of businesses expressing interest in taking on graduates.
